More than just a body, we're actually 5...

We get caught up in all of the ways we are told we are not enough—we are deficient, we are not as good as, if only we,… Culture is all around us telling us about how to ‘fix’ superficial and perceived flaws in the embracing of one ideal or aesthetic. The truth is that we are far more than the external layer that holds all of our good stuff inside. This concept is called the koshas — or sheaths. In yogic philosophy, 5 sheaths are acknowledged as the 5 layers fo the self.

Modified Schedule March/April

Hello, all! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be wrapping some continuing education in Restorative and Yin Yoga, and am ECSTATIC to practice with the creator of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Jennifer Reis at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health (squeal!!). For these very good reasons, I’ll have a modified schedule this month.

Some of my amazing colleagues will be teaching the following classes in my stead:

SUN 4/7 - FRI 4/12 - Stretch & Recover, Flow, Sonic, Hot with Music

SUN 4/28 - Vinyasa Flow
