The Harvest Moon got its name from being a large, bright moon that allowed farmers to bring in harvest until the later hours of the evening. Harness the energy of this big full moon that’s nearest the Autumn Equinox as you embrace transformation in thought and well-being.
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a powerful and accessible, easy and relaxing meditation technique that takes place while comfortable in savasana. After some movement to prepare for meditation, students are led through the five layers of the self into a a state of consciousness between sleeping and waking, after which they will feel restored, renewed and with a sense of wholeness. Students will enjoy a sound healing immersion with crystal singing bowls as a part of their experience.
No experience is required for this 75 minute class. Comfortable attire recommended. Favorite props, blankets and pillows are welcomed. $25 Please register in advance for this event.
